BACKGROUND
Harleyford Aggregates recently contacted Atlantic Pumps regarding an old Linatex Mark 2 pump that had stopped working. It’s often difficult to get hold of replacement Linatex pumps and spares and lead times of up to two weeks have been previously known.
While Atlantic Pumps stock a wide range of wear parts suitable for Linatex pumps, given the condition of the pump, it was decided that a replacement pump would be needed and quickly if downtime was to be avoided.
SOLUTION
Atlantic Pumps were able to provide immediate assistance, working quickly to ascertain that the client would be best served by a built up SlurryPro 4x3 CAH – a pump that could be supplied from their large warehouse. The SlurryPro 4x3 CAH is an industry-proven horizontal, centrifugal slurry pump and is designed for highly abrasive applications.
The Uxbridge site took delivery of the built-up pump by 2pm the next day and had it installed and operational later that afternoon.
CONCLUSION
