EVAN JOINS OPERATIONS TEAM FULL-TIME

Evan Biggin

We’re delighted to announce that Evan Biggin has now joined the Operations team full-time at our Orgreave factory.

Prior to joining us, Evan undertook a six-month period of intensive training at the AMRC Training Centre in Yorkshire where he's enrolled on an NVQ Level 3 apprenticeship.

His studies have taken in mechanical fault finding, electrical fault finding, hydraulic and pneumatic fault finding and hand fitting technics.

Evan will now complete the remaining two and a half years of his apprenticeship on day release.

‘Evan has been learning at one of the best facilities in the UK which has put him in a great position as he starts his career with Atlantic’ said Operations Manager Ed Smith.  ‘We look forward to further developing his skills within the team’.

Well done Evan and welcome to Atlantic Pumps. We wish you a long and successful career with us!

Want to follow in the footsteps of Evan?

Atlantic Pumps have an ongoing commitment to employing young people in the industry and investing in the next generation of British engineering.

Following the success of Evan on the Maintenance Pathway, we will be looking to enrol another individual on the programme in 2019. Following completion of their apprenticeship, they’ll join Atlantic Pumps and the Operations team at Orgreave.

We are looking for exceptional attitude, people who enjoy helping people and will get satisfaction from going the extra mile to give our customers exceptional service. There isn’t a minimum or maximum age required to be considered and the chosen candidate will have to pass an assessment with ARMC before being accepted.
